Why we're doing it
We often get smaller or new voluntary and community groups contacting us looking for a website.
These organisations have the most to gain from the web - getting their name out there, shouting about the good work they do and promoting their services to funders, supporters and those in need.
Yet these organisations often have poor websites, or aren't able to afford one to begin with. It costs too much, it takes too long, and at the end of it all it might not work.
That's why we created Webseeds - to take the time, the risk and the confusion out of setting up a website. We've poured years of experience about what works for charities, community groups and social enterprises into one easy-to-use tool to help you get online.
So what's the catch?
There isn't one - as a social enterprise one of our social aims is to boost the capacity and skills of not-for-profits by helping them to use technology effectively.
We hope you'll love your webseed because it makes it so easy to communicate your message and grow your organisation. So, maybe when you win that big funding bid and need some more support with your digital communications, you'll consider talking to us.
Extending your plot
Webseeds are so simple because we just give you what you need, and take all the confusing options away.
If you'd like to add some bells and whistles to your website later on though, simply choose an extension. They all come with step-by-step help on how to use them to achieve your aims. Be it taking donations, promoting events, or running a snazzy newsletter.
